The lesson of the day

Today in the gym a guy told me something clever:

"In India the weather is hot, but everything else is cool."

Well, this will be my mantra from now on for the bad days :)))

Oh yes, and i'm going to Chitardurga for the weekend to visit a colleague's family :)

(and before anyone would get confused, similar to the swimming-pool also in the gym there are "ladies batches" and "gents batches". That means that there are times when only men, and times when only women are allowed inside... I mean, ok, i don't mind that i'm not stared at in my bikini by tons of indian men in the swimming-pool or stared at sweating in the gym, but yes, weird.)
And women here in the swimming-pool wear swimming costumes similar to the one in the picture - the latest design from the 1920s. And this is already a great move from the swimming-in-the sari/churidar fashion.

Yes, this IS a different world.
